Not true at all, ACER has some great laptops on amazon at great prices. I remember seeing a Core i5, HD 5650 for $750

Yeah ACER do some very powerful laptops very cheap. I've heard bad things about them though.

Parts are recycled from refurbished or broken other laptops, terrible overheating with low auto shutdown temperatures etc.
