Wait, you'll be disapointed if the maker of a game you'd like to play on the PS3 disses other games. But what about the maker of your system!!! oh I forgot a '?'

Yeh like I said in my previous post that I don't like Devs who are arrogant. I can love the game the Devs make but that doesn't mean I have to like the Devs. What I'm saying is Devs shouldn't be arrogant and diss competition. Look at Miyamoto san, Evan Wells, Kojima, CliffyB and so forth. They make great games and manage to gain respect from gamers without making so arrogant comments.

Why are devs arrogant? Because they can get away with it and better yet they can prosper in saying stupid shit. Console makers set the tone and the people justify it by not making an appropriate response, whilst the developers just fall in line behind. Why should you be disapointed in Crytek when they are merely following the lead of countless Microsft jabs, Sony jabs, and Sony developers who prospered in creating a dirty environment?

Yeh but they don't have to prosper in saying stupid shit.

Miyamoto is part of Nintendo and he speaks perfectly fine about his games and the competition without being arrogant. While MS is going off saying Natal is the next big thing and while Sony is saying PS Move is precise and therefore better than the Wii, Miyamoto says he feels honoured by Sony and MS for taking on Motion Controlling. CliffyB doesn't go off and say "Yeh Gears of War is better than Uncharted" and instead says stuff like "Yeh we aim to make Gears of War 3 the most fun and polished Gears of War game. Just like how Uncharted and Modern Warfare raised the bars of gaming, we aim to do the same."

See? It's not hard for Devs to talk in a respectful manner and not sound arrogant. Just try to be different. But I guess it must be hard for a lot of the Devs to be different from the Console makers. So I should just don't care overall about the Devs.

And when I mean disappointed, I mean disappointed, not I hate or dislike them. Like as in "Damn wish they hadn't said that in the first place." type thing.
