One year selling advantage means a lot for HD console war,even for substandard product.
Without competitor for one whole year!!!I think that's exactly what Microsoft sacrificed the quality for.
But still PS3's been rising steadily,even got higher average sales per year than XBOX360,that says a lot for quality also.
Things are getting easier and easier for PS3 since the launch day
