Oh man! I don't know whether you're being ultra-subtley sarcastic or whether you've blindly fallen in to the standard 360 Attack League tactic: Can't compete on the issue at hand (graphics in this case) so throw down Halo 3 sales where Halo 3 isn't even relevant for the topic. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're being very subtle in your sarcasm. In which case: LOL!! Having said that there is an interesting correlation: if SC:C is the 360 version of UC2 from a graphics perspective, then in like manner MGS4 is the PS3 version of Halo 3 from a sales perspective. SC:C graphics don't measure up to UC2, but it's the best 360 has on offer at the moment (debateable??). MGS4 sales don't measure up to Halo 3, but it's the best PS3's got at the moment. I haven't seen SC:C in action so I can't venture a direct opinion on how it compares to either MGS4 or UC2. The only thing I can ask is whether the OP is comparing SC:C to MGS4 because SC:C falls well short of UC2 (and GoWIII), or because the OP thinks MGS4 still reigns supreme for graphics on PS3? At the end of the day if you're graphic whoring you've got to be clear about the context. I'm not even sure where the OP thinks SC:C sits on the 360 only graphics scale. Is it better than ME2 & Gears 2 for instance? Is it really the best the 360 has right now? |
I'm comparing the two because I think it's a good matchup even though MGS4 is two years older. These two games are always compared to each other mainly because they are the two stealth giants in the industry and comparing their graphics just makes sense.
And as for graphical supremacy on the 360, I think that Gears 2 still owns that crown (sinking cities FTW!). Actually, ME2 also looks really sexy; both games are the best looking 360 games right now.
