you forgot metal gear, :P as I think you like that game.

But yeah... me too FF/bethesda/bioware/DEUS EX :D

SO4, I liked it as in Enjoyable, but it wasn't really close one of my favorite games.... it was kinda like equivalent to legend of dragoon to me (not in plot but in.. liking and that makes sense).

I loved Persona 3, because it was different. And a tad bit edgy. And the story was much better than P4 IMO

I didn't like persona 4, because it was the same (see where FFXIII gives you beautiful varied places to go through with cutscenes), persona 4 gave you randomly generated corridors

Dragon Quest VIII was kinda like FFXII to me, in it was fun, but not memorable (to me atleast), except for YANGUS :P

I only have FFIV, Pokemon, The World Ends with you for the DS. The world ends with you, is cool, it's kinda weird though very japanesey and im japanese!, tetsuyo nomura designed the characters. And FFIV I like the 2d version because I thought it looked like FFIX, except for in FFIX the look fit and in FFIV it doesn't imo

I thought I was the only one who loved P3 but didn't really like P4. What I liked in P3 was that you had to go through 10+ floors to find 'save spot.' In P4, you can complete one floor, go to the second floor and get out of the dungeon. When you re-enter the dungeon, you have to option to start from floor 2. It made the game less challenging and exciting.

Story and characters were better in P3, imo. Same goes for the city/environment. P4 had a lot of repetition, unneccessary dialogue and too much story thrown at the beginning. 3 hours before playing the game was too much for me, and the story went nowhere for like 70% of the game.

I also didn't like the gameplay changes in P4. If you cast maragi and at least hit one enemy's weakness, you get an extra turn no matter if the others nulled it or drained it. Once again, it made the game easy. Also I'm not sure if it's just me, but it was kind of hard getting a player advantage. The shadows noticed you before you reached them.

Though some things I liked in P4 were that party member social link affected how they act in battles. It basically gave you a reason to form a bond with your party members. I also liked that you can control each party member, and that you didn't have to talk to them individually to change their equipment. Lastly, it was pretty funny.

I'm very excited for Persona 3 Portable. Playing as a female and dungeon traps = win!

@darth, Strange Journey's story isn't that good unless you like monotonous fetch quests. I made it like halfway through the game before I put it down and went back to Devil Survivor.
