Pedophilia is classified in the DSM as a disease, along the lines of sex addiction and other behvioral disorders. As far as all the research that has been done is concerened, and it's a lot, Homosexuality is not considered a disorder. No idea where this "research" is coming from, but it ain't the legitimate psychological community. I suppose since people can get "doctorates" in theology of all frickin' things, maybe they did the "research".
