| The Fury said: I believe it, it's the kind of thing that would happen in today's place of works. Our water heater on my floor at work broke once, it took months to get fixed. I asked for my floor to have a kettle, it's simple cheap and water tastes better too. The main guy who orders stuff and such alike said no due to health and safety. It was a bloody kettle, if someone didn't know how to use it then that is their own bloody fault. Of course what defeated it was that fact people were walking down a flight to stairs to the floor below to get hot water then back up, something that is surely far more hazardous in terms of our safety. We got the boiler fixed and infact got a kettle too after some more moaning. Lame excuse though using H&S. |
Why has everyone suddenly gone into H&S overdrive?
