Maybe because Silicon Studios felt like developing a game now and they thought the retro Zelda thing would be a fantastic concept. You should just be happy that a game paying it's respects to the franchise you obviously love is made, as Euphoria14 said (kinda), any self respecting Zelda fan should play this game and be happy it's made.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
