I was going to say yes, but then I looked at the numbers.
GOW 3's second week legs are only 25% vs GOW2's 30%.
Third week its 15% vs 16%.
It shows there really isn't a huge pent up demand... it's legs are performing near identical to GOW2's legs... of which there was obviously no shortage of PS2s. If there was any pent up demand... even so much as a couple 100,000 it would of showed up in the legs.
There is nothing in the numbers that remotley suggests it affected GOW sales at all.
