First week sales would be bigger, but overall sales would be identical. Notice how god of war 3 had smaller drops than most other PS3 games.
It's not like a god of war fanatic went to the store and said "hmmm No PS3's, guess I will never buy the game now, might as well move on" It's "Hmmm, no Ps3's, i'll just come back next week".
