Got my pre-order in. I prefer an open-world style and don't believe horror or mystery can't be delivered in that format. Just that this story couldn't. It would be time-consuming and thus expensive. This title has already taken too long.
I still can't believe it's not going pc after all that initial effort. Maybe after M$ gets the boost they want for 360. I hope Wake will be 20 + hrs with some sandbox areas giving time and space for investigation and discovery at my pace. I haven't played ff or uc but I don't see many similarities from here in the cheap seats.
