Und? This is only an interview, and it hardly counter anything from my posts. Dismal sales in NA is nothing new, as I was the first to point it out in the thread. Neither I did brag that their competition is weak, Nokia certainly face pretty good opponents, so I can't blame the exec who openly admitted it. But again, Nokia global sales _are_ solid ATM and on the rise. Their marketshare may drop a few percents this year though and it'll be Samsung taking the lead, as I posted myself. So?

that's not just any ol interview read it more closely:

this is not just something an exec said off the cuf or anything like that it's a very real concern for Nokia. the mere fact that in under 2 year's Apple has been able to unseat such a very large chunk of the smartphone market is a very real sign that thing's are not going to smoothly for quite a number of companies in that market.

even the fact that Even Google's Android has been able to gain share on Nokia as it has, Even Microsoft's very own Window's mobile has lost a big chunk of it's share this is not something you should overlook. Nokia has had strong solid sales but by the look's of it, and Even Nokia is not taking this lightly.
