Number of failures after 1st year of ownership that people had to pay for:
360: 0% (prolly around 15-20% actually for people who had the DVD drive die and they didn't want to lie and say its RROD) PS3: 100% Wii: 100%
Number of failures after 2st year of ownership that people had to pay for:
360: 0% PS3: 100% Wii: 100% |
what ?

I only know 1 system that has 3 year of warranty for 2 issues which cause 70% of its failures.

I had to pay to repair my 360 after a year and a half (no RROD, the console would just freeze after being on for 1-5 minutes.
I did NOT have to pay to repair my PS3 when it failed after a year and 2 months (they quietly extended the warrenty on launch PS3s for a few extra months when a lot of them started getting YLOD).
So I guess, well, you're wrong.

Thats your fault for not using the exchange system to your advantage...
You could have easily told them it freezes for a few minutes then it becomes RROD. They would have never checked as freezing is a symptom of RROD.
And as far as PS3 extended warranty for a few months, im sure you are a special case as there was no official extensions.
