Dead Rising. Bought this game when it was really cheap to see what the hype was about. I played for 2 hours and just had to stop. The game seemingly had no point, awful controls, and made me insane due to my insatiable desire to kill and do everything. I just had to stop or I would have gone mad.
Excite Truck was another game I just had to stop. The bad controls, pointlessness to the game, and lack of inspiration kinda just led me off. After a few races, there was really no point for me to go back and finish the rest of the core experience. Was enough to keep me from really ever touching the game again.
I'm sure there is a few others but those are the main ones for this generation. Lots more though for last generation and generations before it. Main one out of those was Wipeout on the N64 which was easily the worst game I've ever bought haha.
