I really dont think its like that at all.

Its just poking fun at scams and this one happens to use MS as a cover, its not like any sane person will all of a sudden start yelling "OMG M$ IS TRYING TO SCAM ME!!!1!"

This forum's description states that it's for "Xbox / 360, Halo, XBL, Live Arcade - keep it all in here!", so could you tell us which one of those it falls under?  What does this scam even have to do with video games?
