The only one I'd even give some attention to is "Oversaturation of FPS". Other than that, the rest of those are just hit-seekers.

Every generation has a genre that explodes with popularity, and each genre still has plenty to offer this gen. It's not a big deal. 

Yeah? Well, I must say FPS exploded this generation and oversaturated our consoles. Name the other genres for the other generations?

In the 3rd generation, there was an explosion of platformers. Developers would shamelessly copy other games and release branded platformers that sold millions. In the 4th generation, JRPGs exploded (and were biggest in the 5th generation). The 6th generation saw the rise of racers and action games. I could go on and on, but frankly, this article just seems like more biased crap.
