Haha, holy shit, I can't believe you actually went through the hastle of making up a (pretty pointless) list.  Can you honestly say that someone might be struggling to decide which game to buy between Alan Wake and Sonic & Sega all stars racing?

I'll refer you to my previous statement:  Gamers only have a finite amount of time and money.  There have been more AAA titles released on PS3 this year so there is a lot more competition on the PS3 than the 360.  Therefore, if 2 equally good games are released on both consoles, the 360 will sell more.

Multi-platform games gan be eliminated from the discussion as they compete equally with PS3 and 360 game releases.

Low selling games cannot be included as they need to actually be bought in order to compete with other Games.

There is a lot of competition on the PS3 at the moment.

Here is a list of the High Selling PS3 exclusive games this year:

GOW3

HR

MAG

White Knight Chronicles (International Edition)

Uncharted 2 (still sold bucket loads this year)

God of war collection

Here is a list of the High Selling 360 exclusive games this year:

Mass Effect 2

Quite a short list isn't it?

The idea that a game has to sell well makes no sense, if it's available to the people who own the console then it counts as far as "360 owners havn't had a hell of a lot to play this year".  You can't just discount games because they didn't sell well, that doesn't change that it was available for 360 owners to play.  Not to mention that counting a game that is selling good amounts this year but wasn't made this year makes even less sense.

Of course it has to sell to compete with other games, that's the whole damn point!!!!  Gamers have a finite amount of time and money.

Most people cannot buy every single game released, so they have to make a CHOICE.  They can either buy one game (eg. HR) ar another game (eg. Uncharted 2).  Hence, the Games compete with each other.  The more sales one title gets, the less others will get.

This is also the reason I can include Uncharted 2 - is competing with other games for customers money this year, even though it came out last year.

@thetruthhurts:  So you were only disagreeing with my wording of the argument?  I admit saying "360 owners haven't had a hell of a lot to play this year" was i bit flippant.  So I retract that statement.  Everything else is just basic economics though.
