Could GT5 the lowest selling GT game?

theres actually 2 camps here, 1 who wants gt5 to be a success and 1 that wants it to fail.

No there is a third camp that want GT5 to be a success but understand that success doesn't mean it having to sell in excess of 10 million or indeed outsell earlier games in the franchise. 

The interesting point comes after release if it doesn't look like hitting 10 million how half of you will say, well only 2 or 3 posters said it was going to hit 10 million, stop generalising.

Good points. 7-8mill is not a failure in the sense of failing. It'd be a disappointment, however, for a franchise like Gran Turismo.

The thing is we have to wait around 5 years to see if it's a failure or not. GT sales increase very slow but consistent through some years.
