bottom line is waron is very bitter and seems to be frustrated with gt5 coming out.

personally i cant wait for him to be proven wrong.

theres actually 2 camps here, 1 who wants gt5 to be a success and 1 that wants it to fail.

No there is a third camp that want GT5 to be a success but understand that success doesn't mean it having to sell in excess of 10 million or indeed outsell earlier games in the franchise.

The interesting point comes after release if it doesn't look like hitting 10 million how half of you will say, well only 2 or 3 posters said it was going to hit 10 million, stop generalising.

I disagree with this, i think if GT5 doesn't top 10m then it will be seen as a failure considering the sales of previous GT games.  But i am fairly confident that GT5 will do 10m+, im expecting 2m+ first week and strong legs because GT is a long game with good replay value.  Add to this it will have an online mode which i am expecting to be extremely popular and people will not be selling this game.  What does that mean? Not as many used copies so more new copies sold = long legs.

Selling 5 million will be a success, 10 will be fantastic.  People don't seem to grasp what an achievement it is for any game to hit 10+ million in sales.  I really don't understand how a game only selling 7-8 million would be a failure, its crazy lol.
