The authors of that article touch on very important matters about DLC.
After reading through it one simply confirms what is already apparent. There is still a long way to go until we're not treated as sluts anymore when it comes to buying, keeping and storing our DLC.
Edit: Locked DLC is indeed the worst! At least with the other types of DLC we have a choice on what to do. Locked DLC must be on the disk, freely accessible in the game. It's unethical and reeks of customers being cheated. If developers had the time to create that concent for the game before the game has gone gold, then it must be a part of the game by all accounts.
