Actually, 10% of Europeans are immune to HIV and AIDS. So I suppose it could nearly kill us all, but some would live.

I don't think they are immune, just resistant.

They are actually immune. Their cells lack the receptors that the HIV attatch to. It ties in with the theory of natural selection, as the black death attaches to the same receptors. So those who did not have them did not die (from the black death) and were able to pass this (the immunity) on to their offspring. May the best man win!
