Trolling is also trying to provoke some sort of emotion or controversy. While it can be said that "it's shit" is controversial, is it really comparable to trolling like making a blatantly racist post, arguing an indefensible position, etc? Don't we have an "ignore each other" policy? Just don't response to my posts at all (even if you're not directly quoting it). 

And yes, I believe that calling something "shit" is trolling. Call me crazy (don't actually call me crazy, that would hurt my feelings). 

calling something "shit" is not correlated to trolling. Substitute with the word "crap" or "trash" and you could get the same sense, without the profanity.
