The people with permission probably just lost the use of otherOS too, next patch will remove it entirely. (thanks geohot)
Will take quite a bit longer for Geohot to work around that but he will, and then we'll see firmware updates every week just so that the people running custom firmware stay without full functionality and access to the PSN network.
