Because, the PSP doesn't get a whole lot of support as it is, and I believe one of the contributing factors to that is piracy. I want as many awesome games available for my PS3 as possible, and I think the best way to ensure that, is to have a secure system. And if it means that I lose a feature I never used in the first place. Then so be it. |
Yeah PSP piracy is rampant but so is DS piracy and 360 piracy (but less so, I will give the PSP that). I do not want piracy to happen and, like you, I want to have awesome games and a secure system. The thing is, the removal of other OS did *NOTHING* to make anything more secure. He made CFW already. DONE.
Perhaps if it wasn't a feature to begin with then that'd be another story but that wasn't the case. Other OS was a feature that some people paid money for and now, gone, for nothing. I *DO* mind losing features my device is said to be able to do though I wouldn't mind if Sony gave me some of my money back for losing that feature, I'd be ok with that.
