Nice for you. Well, in my case, I have a 32 inch Bravia. The warranty was for one year. It broke one month after the warranty was over and guess what? They charged me for it and it was damn expensive. Not bad though as I got a warranty for the service for 6 months. Then the tv breaks while I have only a week left on my second warranty. Now I get really pissed. It's almost like there is a timer for it to break just after the warranty is over and they just barely missed it the second time.

did you called them and ask them to do it(under warranty)???cause that's what i did.

The second time I did and they fixed it (it was under service warranty after all). I was pissed about the timing. First time it broke in 1 year and a month when the warranty was for one year. Second time for one week before the extended service warranty expired.

In my case, my next tv being a sony tv or not will depend on when it breaks for a third time.

EDIT: I also have a 46 inch bravia. That one is around a year old and is working fine.
