Is gran turismo is best racing game in racing genre?

You hit the nail on the head. Mario Kart Wii >>> GT for fun and entertainment. I am going to pass on GT5. I have learned my lesson. I did not enjoy GT5P. If anything, I will finally break down and get my own Wii.

I don't have GT5P, but when I played the GT5 time trail demo, it played better than any other GT I've played before the PS3 era, so I have no problem picking it up. MKWii is pretty much the best racer this gen so far though, which is a scary thought.
