I don't have one yet. I have pre-ordered the 3G one, and it does not come out until later this month. I spent some time at the Apple store playing with one, and a friend at my office has one that I have spent a few hours with. And yea, the time I have spent using it is pretty amazing. What's even more amazing, is all the hate from people who have never touched one. "Lord of the Rings is the worst fucking movie I have ever seen. It's shit. The acting sucks, and anyone who likes it is just a Tolkien fanboy who eats anything he shits out." - Reviewed by someone who has never seen the movie. This is how I feel when I see all the hate for a product no one has to buy, that is not forced on anyone. I have no idea where all the rage comes from for a device some people enjoy. I mean I ware a $2,000 Rado watch to work every day (the one in my avatar photo), and I have yet to see anyone online spew hate for Rado, because all the watch can do is tell time. I doubt anyone has walked away from me and said "fucking Rado fanboy. Doesn't he know his phone has a clock in it?" All the hate for a company like Apple, that sells toys, is crazy. |
O.o $2000 for a watch? I understand that value can be put on for fashionability or brands, but O.o
The main appeal I find with the iPad is that if it works just like the iPhone, it's a lot quicker and convenient to use than a Netbook or laptop.
The down side I find with the iPad is that... well... it works just like the iPhone. It would have been nice if they really upgraded the OS to differentiate it from its predecessor more.
