What I wanted people to get out of the video, could have been done with the sound turned off. The guy is very biased, but so is 90% of the people (one way or the other). Watching the sites load, and how you browse the web was the real reason. Also how the netbook can get slow. Sure, he has a virus protection program on it, but he does because you kind of need one. No one needs one for the iPad.
As for typing, The one I have used is in a case. This lets you lean it upright like a keyboard if you want to type on it. As for the OS and what can be done, we will find out what the new OS will do in just a few days. 4.0 will be unveiled on the 8th.
And for the same reasons some people like Apple products for no reason, I get the feeling you hate them for no reason. In parts of the population, brand loyalty (or hate) seems to creep into peoples ability to make objective opinions.
When you say things like "iPad just blows", you are showing this. There are many reasonable reasons why you have no use for an iPad. That being said, calling it a shitty device has far more to do with emotion, and nothing to do with the collection of metal, glass, plastic, and electronics that make up the iPad.
