Hm... I can see your point, but on the other hand, it's unfair to compare games like Mario Kart with GT. One tries to entertain and amuse the player while the other one tries to simulate the true experience of a racing car. Both are great in its own genre tho.
OT: I honestly didn't have much fun playing GT5P. Well, I had never played any GT game before, and I was seeking for a racing game that could fill MSR's hole in my heart... got disappointed :/
