PS3 will benefit from 3D...just like it would from any extra service.
However I already have a 3D capable TV and am able to watch 3D blurays on my computer using powerDVD 10. Also I am able to play 3D games of much better quality than PS3 will offer on the Pc using Nvidia 3D vision.
So no...think 3D does not = Think PS3
PS3 will not offer the ultuimate 3D gaming experience as its not powerful enough. and quality of 3D movies will depend on the type TV you buy...and word on the CES 2010 floors is that the samsung 3D TVs are better than Sonys.
