I like the XMB aesthetically. It's just too bad that some parts of it are not well organized. For one, there are way too many submenus in the Settings menu. 15 is too many. Also, having the Playstation Store icon under every menu is ugly.
Also, the most annoying thing is that you can't sort things games alphabetically (only date played recent/old, and date created recent/old). That's just stupid. I do like that I can set up folders for the demos, the PS1 games, and the PSN games. And when those folders get too big, I plan on separating them into PS1 A-M, PS1 N-Z, and PSN A-M, PSN N-Z. It's just a damn shame that Sony can't figure out a simple sorting algorithm to sort them alphabetically.
I don't really like the Wii channels. Not being able to have subfolders would annoy me.
I liked the blades from the original XBox360. I can't comment on NXE, as I haven't spent much time looking at it. But I prefer a nice clean look, which is why I like the XMB. It looks sleek and uncluttered.
