Well, techincally it was three, since the first three times I was focusing on the Picochus, and then I just decided to Death on Neochu.
It's the second one I beat, the first one was a Titan Trial, and that took me one try.
Marbolo Wand on Vanille, Imperil on Neochu, and Faith on Vanille and Fang on Sab role dramtically increases your chances.
I believe it's upwards of 15% or so.
