I would just like to point out that wearing the Burqa isn't mentioned in the Quran. It is not a religious right. Plus I have never seen a woman wear one in Belgium.
But it is a symbol of the oppression of women, western women fought hard to have the same rights as their male counterparts.
Whilst I'm against the law, I understand the symbolic value and the signal they are trying to send.
I just think it could have been done differently.
