I don't see it being mutually exclusive that gameplay and graphics can't be in the same game. However they'll probably have to step up their game considerably as they will be compared to Halo: Reach in terms of gameplay and Crysis 2 in terms of graphics and the former is a much easier battle to win than the latter, especially with PC GPUs pushing north of 3Tflops by the end of the year.
