If publishers "struggle" on Wii, I can't wait to see how they do with Natal.

Hmmm.....I wonder if you'll be attacked for this as well.

???

Edit: Oh, you edited your comment.  I get it now. :P

But yeah, if publishers can't seem to make a success on Wii, I'd love to know how they'll work with somethng as foreign as Natal.  And unlike the Wii, Natal doesn't have something like Nintendo's first party titles to help it along.  It'll be entirely up to Rare and third parties to make it a success.

It may be a benefit. On the Wii most people seem to just be playing "follow nintendo". You look at the stuff that isn't following Nintendo and it's worked great. The reemergence of lightgun shooters, stuff like Just dance. The guys in suits allowing developers to develop instead of telling thnm "Copy this" ... maybe it'll help.

I suppose, but without Nintendo's titles, the Wii wouldn't be in the position it is today, and I don't think third parties would even be looking at the Wii as a viable platform to develop games for had Nintendo EAD not been there.

Microsoft needs something to make Natal a viable platform before third parties will be willing to go all out on it.  Otherwise the guys in suits will be telling their developers to make games for other platforms instead.
