Its funny that he ignored Nintendo. Is he afraid that his first party cadre of developers won't measure up? Thats probably true, its says quite a lot that they never mention how awesome their first party developers are in comparison to Nintendo.

Or maybe he left them out because Nintendo are in a league of their own? I really don't think Ps3 or Xbox have to worry if Mass Effect 3 or Final Fantasy 14 will be multiplat with the Wii, so why bring up a platform irrelevant to the topic? it also goes without saying Nintendo have best first party studios and Micrsoft have the worst.

It also goes without saying that acting like you're the king of a very small and self defined jungle doesn't fly well with most people.

It's quite obvious that the context of the article involved the fight between ps3 and 360 for third party publishing support.  I'm not quite sure where the Wii enters in here?

Unless you think Microsoft has been paying off EA to keep Mass Effect away from Nintendo?

Pretending the Wii doesn't exist is head-in-the-sandism. I don't like PR from either Sony or Microsoft. So why would I give them a free pass?

I don't see how the Wii was relevant to the article at all, so how is he pretending it doesn't exist?

He simply pointed out that between the ps3 and 360, Microsoft focuses more on working with third parties while Sony focuses more on their first party efforts.

Here is the direct quote from Sony in the article:

"So rather than putting their money behind that, they've been going to Epic or Valve or BioWare to do what they did with Mass Effect, and that's where they throw their dollars."

What issues lies in this statement?
