Yes i can say they have replicated some ideas that were good. And its always great to innovate but if you improve on tech already in place and important for gaming then isnt that quite a great contribution to gaming. If ANY company didnt improve on something they have replicated then i would say that is counter productive to gaming. I would say micro has done the least innovation up until natal (which is debatable). All they have done is online which everyone can do now and nothing has changed much since. You could say Fps too, but others to me do it alot better. But its a just food for thought and my opinion.

As for the topic. Apple, i would never play ANYTHING they offer over something from ANY of the big 3. I would rather play Lair for the next 1,000 years then the idiotic ipod crap. Again my opinion.

Eh, to each their own. I just feel that, if left to their own, Sony would be the first to stagnate from a lack of new innovation. As for MS, I've mentioned a couple things they've done for console gaming before. Note how you have the qualifier 'now' for everyone doing online. That might have happened if MS didn't start it, but I can tell you that PSN would be a fraction of what it is now, and I don't think Nintendo would be doing online gaming at all right now. But I can name more. MS wasn't the first to do DL games. But demos? EVERY XBL game has a demo availiaible. Headsets for communicating? MS. Even something as simple as moving the power button to the standard controller was their doing. (There was a power button on the PS2 DVD remote, but this was not the standard controller.)
