"Stringer today said the company sells about 200,000 PlayStation 3 consoles in Europe each week, and 40,000 to 50,000 in Japan. It also sold more than 200,000 in the U.S. following ``Black Friday,'' the day after Thanksgiving."

Anyway promising figures, even if just newly sold units to retail.

Very promising.

People are underestimating the PS3 right now I think. Too bad for them.

Right now? How about always and from the beginning. It wasn't even a week old before the "OMG PS3 FLOPS" threads littered the web.

I'm glad it's improving, it seems I'm not too far off in my peronal beliefs after all about all three systems. Can't wait until next year.

I guess you're right.  It's really sad to see such a great console get slammed everywhere mostly because of a large pricetag.

I've definitely enjoyed this year game-wise, and I'm really looking forward to next year as I see it only getting better.  I don't believe the "XYZ exclusive is going to turn it around" stuff, but I do believe that a great library which it is steadily growing will.
