A "demo" in gaming is sth that is distributed for free. So even if GT Prologue demonstates what final GT will be we cannot say that it is a demo becouse - at least in gaming - a word demo is assiociated with free distribution.
Everybody knows that and everybody should agree about this.
Wikipedia says:
A game demo is a freely distributed demonstration or preview of an upcoming or recently released computer or video game.
So you of course can say that GT Prologue is a demo but if you don't want to change the meanings of words you would better say it's a small game.
