A bunch of friends decided to go for some mountain hiking, possibly even towards a big buddhist temple. Well a few hours in, in a valley with a popular spot, I was standing in front of a big map billboard looking figuring out where we were going, and the next thing I know, I'm in the air, then the ground, then stumbling around shouting "holy sh#t I got hit by a car", then woozy. According to the cops the driver hit the gas instead of the breaks. She rammed in to the bill board and totaled her car. If I'd been standing a foot to the right or closer to the bill board I probably would have been killed. As it is, x-rays and ct scan checked out ok, though I've got to go back to a hospital tomorrow to get checked again (at a hospital where some of the staff speak better English!)
