Changing the graphics card is extremely easy. Read the instructions; take one out; put one back in.
It's very much worth it as the GT 240 is underpowered and the GTX 260 is overpriced and obsolete if you care about DirectX 11.
Look at the HD5750 or 5770 as the others have said.
And I'm still saying you don't need the i7 860, you can go for something a third to half of the price and not notice with that workload.
