it doesn't matter, even ps3 browser its crap it's better than IE 6 ON A DESKTOP.

people use it because the thing is bundled with windows XP and they don't know better, IE 6 it's a nightare for HTML standartization, it needs to die, and thanks to firefox and chrome it's finally happening.

 
like i said the general public is what matters, and most of of em sure as hell the dont give a shit about HTML standerdisation... only the tech geeks do lol...its so much easier browsing the web on IE, firefox etc. than ps3... and to most people, that's what matters... like i said...its just common sense...

you are using marketshare as way to say IE IS better it's not, it have marketshare because it bundled, not because people like it.

Just like here, some people like IE some people dont. But most people don't mind.

Just face it, nobody's gonna notice the load times or html standerdisation crap of the ps3 browser compared to the IE. Just the tech savy geeks. Like most people i don't even notice how a page loads on IE compared to firefox, so i happily use both. 

People just notice the convenience of surfing a web. An obviously IE is shitloads more convenient surfing the web than the crappy ps3 browser. I'll say it once and i'll say it again, give people the choice to surf the web on the shitty ps3 browser or IE on a pc or laptop with a mouse and keyboard, people will choose IE.

In the end, it doesn't matter what causes it, but people prefer convenience with surfing the web. A with the majority of users using IE more than the ps3 browser, that's all that matters. A there's no doubt that people prefer the convenience of surfing a web via IE on a laptop or PC with a mouse than ps3 browser. And i'll say it again, "its just common sense"

Let's try to keep the thread civil. There is no need to call anyone fanboyish.

This is about what Aaron Greenberg said about the PS3's browser and how the 360 will not be getting one there was no mention of IE or the PC at all.
