NATAL has potential if Microsoft really backs the accessory. Sony didn't do much with the Eye Toy and they didn't do much with the PS Eye either (that is until PS Move comes out of course. Since PS Move utilizes the PS Eye). If you create quality software, you have a chance at success. Sony didn't create much in the way of software for the Eye Toy and PS Eye (except for the PS Move stuff that's going to come out of course).

I'm quite skeptical with NATAL and PS Move. Controller-free gaming is for the most part uncharted territory so we don't know what to expect. Sony and MS barely did anything on that end with the Eye Toy, PS Eye and Xbox Live Vision. And the PS Move is going to be perceived by the general public as Sony riding on the coat tails of the Wii Motion control craze. If Sony concentrates on 'core' motion-controlled games like Motion Fighter, maybe they'll find success. Thing is, hardcore gamers generally don't have a positive view of motion controls. They prefer the tried and true gamepad. As a Fight Night fan for one, I can't imagine that Motion Fighter for eg. would be anywhere as deep as Fight Night. Motion Fighter might turn out to be fun but it won't be as deep as a boxing experience for sure. Boxing is a complex sport. Anywho, I don't see them competing with Nintendo when it comes to Nintendo's forte though (the so-called 'casual' motion-controlled games).

Oh and Microsoft should allow 18+ material to be released on their console. NATAL would be a huge hit considering the potential NATAL technology would have for that sort of thing. Including Japan (where the Xbox is weak). Moneyhat Maria Ozawa, make a CERO Z pornographic videogame starring her. Put her on the box. Only on XXXbox 369. Bundle that shit with a 360 Slim and NATAL. Xbox will sell out a gazillion times faster than it did when Tales of Vesperia debuted. Itagaki-san is a pervert and an avid Xbox fan. His new studio can head the project and Microsoft can publish.
