The graph says that 360 fans buy as almost the same amount of games as Wii fans do, and the Wii has double the sales the 360 does.

Does this mean that most Wii owners put the Wii away after a few weeks after use? I just asking questions.

The 360 literally has every big series out there.

Even so the 360 sells just about the same amount of software as the Wii. Without the bundled Wii spots and Mario games do you think the Wii would even be near the 360? I highly doubt it.

 

The Wii depends on Mario games or a exercise related games.

If we look at the top 10 games sold this week, the Wii has Wii sports at number 4, but only because it was bundled since day 1.

Number 6 is a Mario game.

Number 10 is a exercise  game.

 

Just Dance has sold over 2 million copies, and it sold 100,000 this week. The game has a 49 ranked on metacritic. Clearly a bad game but manages to sell.

 

1.That isn't the point Garnett. I could also say without Halo 3 and Gears of War the 360 would not even be near the PS3 - apples and oranges.

2.Look at the Wii in Japan. It hasn't received anything in months besides rereleases of Wii games that already came out last year or in 2008 (even 2007 with DBZ:BT3!). Check the 360 charts and you will see several more releases for it. Ask trestres, when was the last time anyone's seen a Wii game on the Japanese pre-order charts?

3.As for Just Dance, it does what it needed to do well....and it was advertised for three months straight at budget price. I don't want to do a list war thing, but the 360 has GTA, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, Tekken, Street Fighter, RE5, blah blah blah; all large-scale games  that  boost sales numbers.

1. Yes but 360 sells the same with 3rd party games as Wii does. ModernWarfare 2 on 360 sold like 10 million and thats on 3 platforms. You think Wii sports resort would of sold 14 million on the Wii alone with 2 other platforms? I dont think so.

2. Japan hates/dislikes/Other reasons/ the 360. 

3. Yes all those games you mentioned are on the PS3 and most 360 exclusives are on PC as well. So i they were ONLY on 360 then the 360 would of passed the Wii in software sales. While Wii games are generally fully exclusive to the Wii.
