One could draw the conclusion that the user base difference is the reason, the demographics, or both. Considering that, the PS3 outperforming (or with the margin of error, matching) the 360 the way that it has this past week means one of a few things: A. The PS3 has better legs (again coming back to demographics & sales trends. Shooters sell faster and more on the 360). B. As more PS3s are sold, that's one of the games those fans are buying now since they could pick up a game with the system. C. Because the PS3 has been selling as much as it's been selling in the last few weeks, the numbers favor it more because MW2 is still a big seller regardless of the platform. The conclusions one could draw from that. |
Or D. MW2 copies were being sold at a highly discounted price for Game Day at Gamestop recently.
