For the purposes of this thread, Monster Hunter ;)
I've only owned about 15 Ps2 games that I remember.
Arc de lad was good, until I tried to replay it and almost puked.
Then there was Dark Cloud two, left fond memories until I played it again, somehow I pulled me self to beating it.
Devil May Cry's were fun and it's weird Chaos Legion sucked because the game proved it sucked. I played it with the male character who controlled like a crippled Dante, then you get the girl who for that 1 stage you get her is awesome... then the game goes back to the guy...
Thinking back I'd have to say between Monster Hunter and Drakengard 2... of course
