Apocalypse ended with the dead of Nero. Why do people still care for that stupid story? >_>

Pretty sure some of the things mentioned like asteroids hitting the earth, or supervolcanos spewing enough ash to blanket out the sun hasn't quite happened after Nero's death...

Apocalypse is a story written in response to the reign of Emperor Nero.

Every letter in the Hebrew alphabet also represents a number. Add all the letters of Kaisar Neron together and you get 666. What a surprise.

Apocalypse is written in a time where there was turmoil in the Roman empire(especially for the early christians) hence why they thought the world was coming to an end.

Supervolcanos and asteroids have happened as well and it didn't end life on earth. Without the extinction of the dinosaurs we would have never existed.

Last I checked, the book of Revelation was written well after Nero's reign, and contained specific language on specific events like asteroids hitting earth - which has not happened to the magnitude described in the book. I'm not arguing that it would end life on earth - just that it'd cause the devastaiton perscribed in the book.

Most scholars believe it's written during Nero's reign. Others say it's written during Domitian's reign, but they're a vast minority as there's less proof for this.

Just because it says that asteroids will hit the earth doesn't mean it's going to happen. Everyone can write and discribe nonsense like that. Believing in the book of revelation will only lead to self fulfilling prophecy.

And a big asteroid is bound to hit(unless we stop it) the earth one day anyway. What a prediction! Same goes for the Volcano and earthquakes.
