EDIT - HAHA, just turned on my xbox 360 .... the power cable wasn't in correct so I got the 3 lights. I thought that would be too creepy ...

You want RROD, Duct tape the vents(but don't open up your Xbox), It will give you the overheating Ring (which is two rings), but if you leave it on long enough while its overheated it will eventually melt the part of the motherboard and you will get RROD (three rings).Then just take the duct tape off and they won't know you did it. I've done it before and it wasn't hard to do.

Yes you are being devious and actually just as good as MS is, but this kind of quality control makes you deserve this kind of behavior so I'm not complaining at all.

Yeah I wouldn't normally do it, but after knowing that it was pretty much guarunteed to brake and that I have a limited amount of time for it to brake or I won't get a replacement. Then its just seems like the fair thing to do.
