It's not that they're more creative, it's that they often naturally have more access to the right side of the brain (since they're left handed, which the right brain controls). The right brain is the visual side of the brain.

Making them more creative then right handed people. 

At least % wise. Cause I'm everything except creative xD

But I remember during one of my classes the % of famous left handed people in history and it was way above average. It makes you wonder why really.
