I would love to know what he likes about the PS3, he is allways spewing poison on anything not Xbox, so his statement has little value.

In this instance everyone agrees. It's like using your phone for internet. It's a bumbling shocking mess. Apps are the way to go. Both Apple and M$ realised this years ago.

The 360 doesn't do Apps, and the iPhone has a pretty good browser... so I don't really see a reason to mix Apple with MS here.

Um, yeah the 360 does apps. What do you think the tailor made apps for Facebook, Twitter, LastFM, Zune Marketplace etc are. We know there are more apps coming for the social stuff the net has to offer. Sky player is another great streamlined app. In fact I wish Sky HD's menu system was like the 360's. It's so much better. And Iphone yes has a browser, but the apps are where it's at. ou can either use the net on Iphone to view Youtube, or use the Iphone Youtube app ( which is 10 times better. )

If by apps you mean just a few hardcoded ones offered by MS, yes. That's an entirely different thing from the iPhone way, which is that everyone can develop an app to let people access their services.

Let me put my point in a simpler way... with the 360, you're on a closed system which only lets you do what MS wants you to do. With the iPhone, you can do pretty much whatever you want.
